According to CBS, the series grabbed more than 57.6 million viewers in 2013 from a possible 3 billion potential viewers. It has also spawned “NCIS: Los Angeles” and “NCIS: New Orleans,” which premieres in the Fall of 2014.

Ravenswood was given a straight-to-series order early last year, but has never been a ratings performer like its Pretty Little Liars since debuting in October.
Ravenswood centred on a town not far from Rosewood, which has suffered under a deadly curse for generations. Five strangers find themselves connected by this fatal curse and need to dig into the town’s mysterious and terrible history before it’s too late for all of them.
With Ravenswood’s cancellation, ABC Family’s scripted drama slate includes Switched at Birth, Twisted, The Fosters and the upcoming Chasing Life.
The Simpsons are getting a makeover as the series’ creators team up with Lego to produce a whole episode made out of colourful building blocks. The episode, which will be called ‘Brick Like Me’, will see Homer Simpson wake up in a Springfield where everyone and everything is made out of Lego. Homer then has to figure his way out before he gets stuck in the plastic world forever.
The show entered its 25th season last September, and the Lego episode will be its 550th episode. The Simpsons has also been renewed for a 26th season, during which one long standing character will die. Also, before this season is over, it will have a cross over with another Matt Groening series, Futurama.
The episode ‘Brick Like Me’ will air on Fox on May 4th.
The CW Network has decided to renew several of its shows for another season, including 5 new shows. E! News has confirmed that the network has ordered a sixth season of The Vampire Diaries, a 10th season of Supernatural and a third season of Arrow, all big draws in the ratings war, while Reign and The Originals were also picked up for a second season.
The CW Network President Mark Pedowitz released a statement shortly after the news of the early renewals broke saying;
“This season we’ve had great success with our new hit series The Originals paired with Supernatural, giving us our best Tuesday nights in years. The Vampire Diaries is No. 2 in its time period in the young adult demos, and with Arrow continuing to gain among young men, and Reign growing its time period, we now have strong nights on Tuesday, Wednesday and Thursday. I’m very pleased to announce early pickups for all five series, and let our fans know they’ll have more great drama to look forward to next season.”
There is no word yet on the fate of the networks other shows; The Tomorrow People, Hart of Dixie, Beauty and the Beast and The Carrie Diaries. The Carrie Diaries season two finale recently attracted less than a million viewers so its renewal is not looking good at the moment.
